Lyon Restaurant Advisory is the registered business name of Lyon Tax Advisory, LLC. We keep the books for restaurant businesses, which means clients trust us with a great deal of information. This notice explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
What we collect
Contact details such as your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address. Information about your business, including sales, bank, card processor, payroll, vendor, and tax records, and the access you grant us to the systems that hold them. Information you give us in conversations, assessments, and documents. We do not collect more than the work requires.
How we use it
To provide the bookkeeping, accounting, reporting, and CFO services you have engaged us for. To communicate with you about that work. To meet our legal and professional obligations, including record-keeping and tax filing requirements.
Who we share it with
The software and service providers we use to do the work, such as accounting, payroll, bill-payment, and document-storage platforms, each under terms that protect your information. Your other advisors, such as a CPA, attorney, or lender, when you ask us to. Government agencies when a filing requires it or the law compels it. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for marketing purposes.
How we protect it
Access to client information is limited to the people who need it to do their work. We use reputable platforms with access controls and encryption, and we hold view and entry roles in your systems rather than payment or signatory authority. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your information with the same care we would want for our own.
How long we keep it
For as long as you are a client and for the period afterward that tax and record-keeping rules require. When that period ends, we delete or destroy it.
Website visitors
This website does not use advertising trackers. The scheduling calendar on the Contact page is provided by Calendly and is subject to Calendly's own privacy policy when you use it.
